Privacy policy

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Manuela Zimmert
Tannenstraße 7a
86971 Peiting
Email: prowin.ela@web.de
Phone: +49 1551 0279357

2. General information on data processing

We only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services, or where you have given your consent. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (contract/pre-contractual measures) and (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR.

3. Hosting

This website is provided via GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (“GitHub”). When you visit the website, technically necessary data is processed by GitHub and stored on GitHub's servers.

As this may involve a transfer of data to the USA, it is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and reliable provision of the website). Further information can be found in GitHub's privacy statement: GitHub Privacy Statement.

Server log files

When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are usually:

This data is not merged with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in order to display the website without technical errors and to optimise it.

4. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser's address bar.

5. Fonts (hosted locally)

This website uses fonts (“Inter” and “Montserrat”) that are stored and served locally from the server. There is no connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts), and no data is transferred to third parties for this purpose.

6. Cookies and local storage

This website sets no cookies. Your usage behaviour is not analysed: we use neither web analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics) nor advertising or tracking technologies, and no profiles are created about you.

Only a few technically necessary settings are stored in your browser's local storage (“localStorage”) so that the website can remember your choices:

This information contains no personal reference, remains exclusively on your device, is not transmitted to us or to third parties and is not analysed. The storage is strictly necessary for the presentation of the website you requested and therefore does not require consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act); a cookie banner is therefore not necessary. You can delete the stored entries at any time via your browser settings (site data or local storage). The website remains fully usable afterwards; only your settings are reset.

7. Contacting us and contact form

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, message) is processed in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent via the checkbox). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

How the form is sent

By default, the form only opens your own email program with a pre-filled message; no data is transmitted to third parties – you send the email yourself.

If direct sending of the form is enabled, we use the Web3Forms service for the technical processing and delivery. In this case, the data entered in the form is processed via Web3Forms and forwarded to our email address; by default, the service does not permanently store the message content. This may involve a transfer of data outside the EU. The transfer is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a), Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR), which you give when submitting via the consent checkbox. Further information on data protection at Web3Forms: https://web3forms.com/privacy.

Spam protection with hCaptcha

To protect against automated misuse (spam), we use the hCaptcha service of Intuition Machines, Inc., 350 Alabama St, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA, for the contact form. hCaptcha checks whether the input was made by a human. For data protection reasons, hCaptcha is not loaded automatically when the page is opened, but only once you actively use the contact form. Technical data (including your IP address and information about your device and browser) is then transmitted to and processed by hCaptcha; this may involve a transfer to the USA. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing spam and misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) as well as your consent (Art. 6(1)(a), Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR). Further information: https://www.hcaptcha.com/privacy.

8. Appointment booking

To arrange consultation appointments, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, preferred date, subject) for the purpose of organising the appointment. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Online booking via Cal.com

For online booking we use the Cal.com service provided by Cal.com, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4382, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. We use the EU region of Cal.com (cal.eu); booking data is processed on servers within the European Union.

For data protection reasons, the booking widget is not loaded automatically. Only when you actively click “Book online” is a connection to Cal.com's servers established and the widget embedded; among other things, your IP address is transmitted to Cal.com. By clicking, you consent to this processing (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). As the provider is based in the USA and access from a third country cannot be completely ruled out, any transfer is additionally based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). The data entered for the booking is transmitted to Cal.com and processed there to provide the booking calendar. Further information: https://cal.com/privacy.

If you do not click the widget, no connection to Cal.com is made. In this case you can also request your preferred appointment informally by email or phone (see section 7).

9. External links, WhatsApp channel and WhatsApp chat

This website contains links to external services, including a WhatsApp channel. These links are recognisable as such and only take you to the respective provider's page after you click on them. Data is only transmitted to the provider once you actively click the link; we have no influence on the data processing there. The WhatsApp channel is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited or Meta Platforms, Inc. Please note WhatsApp's privacy information there: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea.

You can write to us directly via WhatsApp using the round button in the bottom right corner. The chat window itself is part of this website – no content is loaded from WhatsApp and no connection to WhatsApp is made as long as you only open it. Only when you click a link in it does WhatsApp open with a chat to our mobile number; your phone number and your message are then transmitted to WhatsApp and shown to us there. We process your message solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete it as soon as it is no longer needed. If you would like to avoid this, you can reach us just as well via the contact form, by email or by phone (see section 7).

10. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

11. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
